Yr5 have been busy looking at the properties of materials and are planning investigations to find out which materials work best for different things. Their first experiment has included testing how well different materials provide insulation. They did this by using 5 different containers and filling them with hot water - they used thermometers to measure the temperature of the water every 5 minutes.
