This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

We have had a wonderful week in school this week. The children have been deeply engrossed in their learning and they spoke so confidently about their topics in assembly this morning.

This term, we are fortunate to have Munchkins Sports delivering a fun Friday Lunch Club for us and today there were dozens of children in the playground having a fantastic time dancing along with our Sports Coach. It is an important reminder for our children of how to keep fit and healthy whilst having fun! We will be sending out leaflets about some of the holiday clubs that Munchkins deliver.

Please remember to book your Parents' Evening slot for the Spring term using the booking links below. We will also be inviting parents of children in Yr1 - Yr6 into school for a Book Look so you can look at your child's books ahead of meeting their teacher.

Wishing you a restful weekend.

Warm regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

Just a few snippets from our school day today. To the parents wondering how their children's day was unfolding, this is what it looked like thoughtful writing, curious questions, early reading sounds, hands busy exploring and imaginations alive in play. We're always amazed by just how much our children accomplish in one day! #stwilliamofyork #catholicprimaryschool #lewisham #selondon #foresthill #education #swoy #adayinthelife

The Beaver Colony is the first and youngest section of the Scout Group. Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old.  For fun, friendship and activities that get you thinking as well as doing.

Our parish Scout Group meet on Thursday evenings (term time only) at Lewisham Scouts DHQ on St Germans Road.

We have a few spaces for new members who are turning 6 to join our Beaver Colony.  Check out our website http://www.12thforesthill.scoutsonline.co.uk/  and get on the waiting list now.

Adults - if you have a skill you could share with us, please get in touch.  We all love learning.  Could you be one of our volunteers with Beavers, Cubs or even our new Scout Troop we'd like to re-open in October?  Could you be a group Trustee?  Training and support provided.
