This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

As we reach the end of the spring term, our school has been filled with a wonderful sense of creativity and purpose. All of our classes have been busy working with artists from Bow Arts this week to create a whole school art installation based on the theme of creation. This collaborative piece will be displayed on the building just outside our main entrance, where it will replace the tiles that are currently on the wall.  We are very excited to see the final piece unveiled.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Adult Education Centre, who have very kindly supported the project and allowed us to use their facilities and resources.

I would also like to say 'thank you' to everyone who attended our Scholastic Book Fair. All of the book sales mean that we can buy many new books for our school library and classrooms.

We wish Ms Holme well as she embarks on her maternity leave and we look forward to meeting her new arrival! In the meantime, I am delighted to welcome Miss Bryan and Miss McKenzie, who will be providing cover in the Nursery.

It is now the end of the spring term, and I wish you all a wonderful and restful Easter break. I hope you enjoy this holy season with your families, and we look forward to seeing the children return safely for the summer term.

Warm regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

Friday Club with Mrs Mayers

This week's Friday Club was... Eduard, Chibuike, Faith, Favour, Dawid and Masiyin

Well done to all of you! You have been recognised for being ACE and for consistently going 'over and above'

Our Rights Respecting School Article of the Week is...

Article 24 - Health, Water, Food, Environment

Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food, and a clean environment and education on health and well-being so that children can stay healthy.

We have been thinking about World Water Day, which is on 22nd March 2026, and how this connects with this important article.

Reflections of the Week

We have been thinking about the Easter Story and the importance of Faith and Love as we approach Holy Week.

The children have been thinking of ways that they can show their faith and love during the Lenten season.

Our Makaton Sign of the Week is...Family
