This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

As we approach the final week of the spring term, I find myself reflecting on what a vibrant and joyful week it has been for our school community. It has been a true privilege to witness the immense talent and generosity of our pupils.

We had a fantastic afternoon celebrating Red Nose Day, and it was wonderful to see the school transformed into a sea of red as we came together to support such a worthy cause. Your generosity never ceases to amaze me, and I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for all the donations received. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our whole school talent show. The children were absolutely fabulous, showcasing a range of skills that left us all smiling. I am delighted to announce that the winners of this year’s competition are Cassius, Ore and Ariana with their performance of 'I Just Can't Wait to be King'. Congratulations!

It has been a week of great performances across the board, as we also had our Rocksteady concert on Wednesday and our Brass Assembly today. All of our children have shown such commitment to learning their instruments and the progress they have made is remarkable.

As we enter the final week of the Spring Term, we look forward to spending time in prayer and reflection on Tuesday 24th March with our Yr4, Yr5 and Yr6 pupils leading ‘The Way of the Cross’ service in church. Please do join us at 10.30am if you are able to do so.

Warm regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

We have been thinking about how we can be kind, helpful and appreciative during Lent. The children shared some of the ways that they have been helping others and how they are supporting each other to stick with their Lenten promises.

A great end to Science Week with some buddy-time boat building! It's always wonderful to see how the older and younger children play together and support one another. A huge thank you to our Science Lead, Mr Taylor, for organising this week's activities. More photos to come showing how the boats fared on the water! Have a lovely weekend.
