Recorder & Brass Assembly
Our Year 4 and Year 5 musicians showcased their fantastic progress in this week's assembly, demonstrating the impressive skills they have developed through their dedicated weekly lessons with specialist music teachers
Our school hall was filled with a wonderful range of musical sounds this week as we celebrated a fantastic brass & recorder assembly led by our talented Year 4 & 5 performers. Since September, every child in Yr4 and Yr5 has benefited from a weekly lesson with our specialist music teacher and the incredible progress they have made over these months was evident in every note they played. The ensemble demonstrated impressive control and confidence, showcasing how much can be achieved through consistent practice and the expert guidance of our specialist music teachers who support our students throughout the entire academic year.
This week's performance is just one part of the vibrant musical life at our school, where children across different year groups are developing their rhythmic and melodic skills through different specialist music lessons. While Yr5 have been busy with their brass instruments and Yr4 have been learning the recorder, Yr2 and Yr6 have been busy practising their djembe drumming.
We are very grateful to our specialist music teachers who work with our children every week and provide these enriching opportunities, and we look forward to hearing more from all our young musicians as they continue their musical journeys.
