This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children this week for the resilience, confidence, and determination they showed while tackling their SATs. It was a pleasure to welcome them into school for breakfast each morning, which provided a calm and social start to their day, and we hope these shared meals helped make the busy week a more enjoyable experience for our children.

Yesterday, Year 5 led our mass to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension.  They were fantastic ambassadors for our school as they read with great clarity and sang beautifully throughout the service.

Looking ahead to the weekend, a number of our Year 3 and 4 children are reaching a wonderful milestone as they make their first Holy Eucharist. This is such a significant step in their faith journey, and we know how hard they have worked to prepare for it. We will keep all of these children in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish them heartfelt congratulations on this very important and special day.

As the spring weather continues to be unpredictable, we kindly ask that you ensure your child has a waterproof jacket in school every day so they can enjoy their outdoor break times comfortably.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Warm regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)
