Dear Parents and Carers
As the end of term arrives, it's time to say a fond farewell to our incredible Year 6 Class of 2025. We are so proud of each and every one of you - not just for how hard you've worked this year, but for the kind, resilient and thoughtful young people that you've become. From your first days in Reception to your final leavers' production of Beauty and the Beast, your journey has been full of learning, laughter and growth. We hope your time with us has given you a strong foundation and a heart full of happy memories. Thank you for being such a special part of our school.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say a personal 'thank you' to our entire school community for the incredible support you've shown during my first year as Headteacher. It has been a truly fantastic year filled so much joy and so many unforgettable moments. I continue to feel immensely proud to lead such a special school.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful summer.
Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

We’re proud to share that our school has achieved Silver Level Accreditation in the TfL Travel for Life programme (formerly STARS), recognising our commitment to promoting safe, active, and sustainable travel.
This award celebrates the work we’ve done to encourage walking, cycling, and public transport, and to help make journeys to and from school healthier and more environmentally friendly.
Well done to all the pupils, staff, and families who’ve taken part in travel initiatives this year — and thank you for helping us make a positive difference!

Punctuality is important
Please ensure your child/ren arrives to their classroom/s ahead of the 9am register.
We appreciate that occasionally there is additional traffic / unforeseen circumstances. However, we ask that you please ensure your child is in class for 9am register. As we have noticed an increase in the number of late children recently.
|
|
|
Late Collection
We understand that, from time to time, unforeseen circumstances can result in occasional lateness. Please telephone the school office if you are running late so we can let your child and their class teacher know. We must also ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, and this includes managing the impact of late collections. Please see our Late Collection policy here.

Absence Requests
In August 2024, the DfE published new statutory guidance for improving attendance; this is reflected in our school attendance policy, which you can find here.
Section 5 details guidance on requests for authorised absences. There is limited scope for requests that can be approved so please read this section carefully when submitting a request.
You can submit a request for an authorised absence via the form on our website, which is linked here.

|
Medical / dental appointments during school hours
Where possible, please organise for appointments to take place outside of school hours.
We understand that this is sometimes unavoidable. If this is the case, please let the school office know asap, and please provide a copy of the letter / email received confirming your child's appointment.
