This week, the Class of 2025 took to the stage for their unforgettable leavers’ play – a magical performance of Beauty and the Beast that had the entire audience enchanted.

Held in front of a full house of parents, families, friends, and even past pupils, the production was a true celebration of talent, teamwork, and creativity. From the moment the curtains opened, the audience was treated to incredible singing, acting, and dazzling props – all created by the pupils themselves.

The children were truly fantastic, delivering powerful performances filled with humour, heart, and confidence. Their enthusiasm lit up the stage and made for a show to remember.

This wonderful production would not have been possible without the dedication of our brilliant staff. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Shanahan for her musical direction and for teaching the children every song with such care and energy. Ms Di worked wonders behind the scenes, handcrafting every costume with love and detail. Ms Webster’s creative vision brought the whole play together beautifully, while Mr Wilkie impressed us all with his stunning props, set design, and multi-tasking as our resident light engineer!

We’d also like to thank all the parents who supported their children with learning lines and practising at home – your encouragement made a real difference.

We are so proud of each and every child involved. This production was not only a brilliant show, but also a celebration of the amazing young people they’ve become. We hope it’s a memory they’ll cherish forever.

What a special way to say goodbye to primary school – well done, Class of 2025!
