Reception & Yr6 Beach Trip

Our Reception and Year 6 buddy classes had a truly wonderful day out together this week as they made the journey to Joss Bay beach in Broadstairs for a very special seaside adventure. The children spent a fantastic morning splashing in the sea, building massive sandcastles in the sand, and joining together for some brilliant beach games.

The picnic lunch was certainly an exciting highlight, requiring everyone to stay extra alert, to keep their sandwiches safely away from the very determined local seagulls.

It was a joy to watch our oldest and youngest pupils playing so beautifully side by side, creating lovely shared memories that will be cherished for a long time.

A huge thank you goes to our fantastic staff team, who worked tirelessly to organize and run the day, for making such incredibly special memories as our Year 6 pupils prepare for their final days at St William of York.
