Sports Day 2026

What an incredible day we had for our whole-school Sports Day, from Reception right through to Year 6, which took place at Catford Cyphers Cricket Club. We could not have asked for better weather, as the sun shone down on what turned out to be a truly spectacular day of sport, community, and fun.

Our children were absolutely fantastic from the very first whistle, showing immense determination, great effort, and a willingness to push themselves to achieve their absolute best. Whether they were sprinting, jumping, or taking part in the fun-filled team challenges, the team spirit on display was wonderful to see. The encouragement the children gave to one another was a joy to watch, with pupils celebrating each other's successes throughout the morning.

It was particularly lovely to end the event with our traditional finale relays, which brought the whole school together to cheer every class and individual child over the finish line. The atmosphere was fantastic, filled with loud cheers and applause that echoed across the cricket club.

We must also extend a huge thank you to our wonderful parents, who proved to be exceptionally good sports by joining in the Parents' Egg and Spoon Race, which brought lots of laughter and friendly competition to the end of the day. It was such a lovely day, and we hope that our children and their families will have made some truly precious memories to cherish for years to come.
