Yr4 Trip to Horniman Museum

Yr4 step back in time at the Horniman Museum
Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to the Horniman Museum this week to support their History topic on the Ancient Egyptians.
The highlight of the trip was an exciting, hands-on workshop where the children had the incredible opportunity to handle real Ancient Egyptian artifacts! Working like real archaeologists, pupils examined genuine items from thousands of years ago, discovering fascinating insights into the everyday lives, culture, and religious beliefs of the people who owned them.
The children represented our school brilliantly throughout the day, showing great curiosity, insightful questioning, and exemplary behavior. A big thank you to the staff and parent helpers who accompanied the trip and helped make the day such a memorable learning experience!
