ACE Card Competition Winners

At our school, we constantly encourage our students to be ACE, which stands for showing an outstanding Attitude, Commitment, and Effort in everything they do. When a child is recognised for these qualities, they are awarded a special ACE card, a postcard sent home to celebrate their hard work and positive impact on our school community.

Recently, we decided it was time to give these important awards a fresh new look. Rather than looking elsewhere for inspiration, we turned to our most talented resource: the children themselves! We launched a school-wide competition asking students to put their artistic skills to the test and redesign the ACE cards for 2026.

The response was overwhelming. Our desks were flooded with vibrant, imaginative, and thoughtful entries that captured exactly what it means to be ACE. From bold geometric patterns to intricate illustrations of school life, the level of creativity made the judging process incredibly difficult for the leadership team.

After much deliberation and many "tough calls," we are delighted to announce that we have selected two overall winners. Their designs perfectly balance the spirit of commitment and effort with a bright, modern aesthetic that any student would be proud to display on their fridge at home.

These winning designs have now been sent off to the professional printers. We expect the new batch to arrive very soon, so keep an eye out for the next ACE card arriving through your letterbox might just be one of these brand-new masterpieces!
