Yr4 & Yr5 Trip to the Centre of the Cell
Year 4 and 5 had a great start to the week with a trip to Centre of the Cell. Our young scientists dove deep into the microscopic world, exploring different types of cells and fascinating parts of the human digestive system.
Year 4 and Year 5 had a fantastic start to Science Week with an exciting trip to the Centre of the Cell in Whitechapel. They learned all about how the body breaks down food to create energy and even got to see the incredible path that a meal takes from the mouth all the way through the digestive system.
On the way back to school the adventure continued with a visit to the park. This gave everyone a chance to enjoy the fresh air and discuss the amazing facts they had discovered during the morning session. It was a brilliant way to burn off some energy after a busy time of learning. The students returned to school full of enthusiasm and ready to continue their scientific investigations throughout the rest of the week.
