A Moving Reflection: The Way of the Cross
This morning, our school community gathered in church for a deeply moving The Way of the Cross service. Our pupils in Years 4, 5, and 6 led the congregation through a solemn and reflective retelling of the Easter story, performing with a level of grace and maturity that touched everyone in attendance.
Through a seamless blend of poignant readings, heartfelt prayer, and powerful song, the children recreated the journey of the Passion. Their ability to deliver the narrative so cohesively allowed us all to enter into a space of deep contemplation. We are immensely proud of the reverence they showed, as they truly brought the Gospel to life for their peers, teachers, and families.
As we approach Holy Week, this service served as a beautiful reminder of the central importance of faith and love in our lives. The dedication of our upper Key Stage 2 students provided the perfect spiritual preparation for the Easter season, leaving us all with a sense of peace and gratitude.
