Science - Air Resistance Experiment

Year 5 explored forces and air resistance by designing and testing their own parachutes. Working in groups, they created parachutes and dropped them safely from the school windows to see how air resistance affected the speed of the fall. The experiment helped them understand how shape, size, and materials can change the way forces act on an object.
