NSPCC Be Safe Workshops

NSPCC visited our school this week to deliver workshops.
This week, our Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took part in the NSPCC's 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' workshops - an important programme designed to help children understand how to stay safe and know what to do if they ever feel worried or unsure.
Through age-appropriate discussions, videos and activities, the sessions covered key messages around:
- Recognising trusted adults they can speak to
- Understanding the difference between safe and unsafe situations
- Knowing their rights to feel safe and protected
- The importance of speaking out if something doesn't feel right
The NSPCC team delivered the workshops with warmth and clarity, and were full of praise for how engaged, thoughtful, and respectful our pupils were. They even commented on how incredible our children were throughout the sessions - and we couldn't agree more!
We believe that it's vital that children feel confident, informed, and supported, and these workshops were a fantastic way to reinforce that message in a child-friendly and empowering way.
Thank you to the NSPCC team!
