Over the last few months, our school has been buzzing with creativity as every single child took part in an incredible whole school art project. Developed in partnership with Bow Arts, this ambitious initiative invited every pupil to contribute to a stunning, permanent installation that now proudly marks our main entrance.

The process was hands-on from the very beginning. The children rolled out raw clay to create individual tiles, learning about texture and form as they worked. They then explored a rich range of resources to press delicate imprints into the clay, creating unique patterns and textures. Once the tiles were fired, the children carefully painted them, adding vibrant layers of colour to their designs. All the finished pieces have now been brought together to create a magnificent, creation-themed artwork that beautifully celebrates new beginnings, growth, and our shared community identity.

An ambitious project of this scale requires immense collaboration, and we are incredibly grateful to Bow Arts and to the Adult Education Centre for their vital support. They generously opened their doors to us, allowing our students to use their professional art rooms and specialist resources to bring this vision to life. This partnership has given our children a wonderful opportunity to work like true artists, and their collective masterpiece now provides a spectacular, warm welcome to everyone who walks through our front doors.
