Yr3 Trip to the Natural History Museum

Year 3 Explore the Wonders of the Natural History Museum
Year 3 had a fantastic day out this week on their trip to the Natural History Museum, where their learning about prehistoric life was brought vividly to life. The highlight of the visit was the exciting Dino Dig workshop, where the children became real-life palaeontologists for the morning. They had the opportunity to brush, sift and dig to uncover ancient fossils, learning how scientists discover and study remains from millions of years ago.
Throughout the workshop, the children showed impressive curiosity, asking thoughtful, insightful questions and engaging enthusiastically with every activity. Their behaviour and attitude made us incredibly proud.
On the journey home, a member of the public on the train even took the time to comment on how fantastically well-behaved our pupils were, which was a wonderful compliment to end the day.
Well done, Year 3, for representing our school so brilliantly and for showing such excitement and passion for learning!
